@420AttyChicago We had two, one was my dad's from before he got married and then my parents wanted a second for some reason. Wanted to make sure old friends and family could reach him. Around 1995 the old line became the 24/7 AOL connection. Was hot **** never needing to log off

@InsertBambiJoke @superloafcat My husband used BBSes in the 80s, later was a volunteer support rep for AOL, then graduated to support in other companies. He's seen ALL the levels of "knowledge" of computers from the public.
