@RJTomasiello @elonmusk I think it's stupid. This is a social media platform. Nobody ever dragged the owners of AOL before congress, despite people being allowed to freely express themselves there. No, this is about the fact that Musk isn't in their circle. They can't control him and that scares them.

@GrischukTommy Yes although they were in proprietary spaces not the open internet. At the age of 19 I told the CEO of AOL to his face his product was **** and not to make the auction site QXL be Internal to AOL, he did , it then sold for 30 million months later on

I don't know if anyone else sees the same pattern as I do, but why is it that whenever I sign into AIM, poor old @TVNaga01 is always featured, and not in a positive way? Well, @AOL @aolmail ? She is a veritable legend and you're being arses!

Third, people acting like this WASN’T the biggest drop of ALL TIME. The demand for this project far exceeded the demand for any project times 1000x. Are you forgetting that we’re still in the early internet days of this all? ******* dial up modem AOL ****? Cmon people!

  • alantrask1 Alan Trask (@alantrask1) reported

@GovMikeHuckabee @elonmusk Back when the internet started gaining public use, even since the days of AOL, the first rule of the internet was to NEVER post personal information online. It was common sense that seems to be increasingly uncommon these days.

  • Auckland_King Auckland_King (@Auckland_King) reported

@elonmusk Like Nokia, Kodak, blockbuster, AOL, Sears? None of them had a quality issue.

  • MKlenhard Maria Klenhard (@MKlenhard) reported

Is anyone having AOL server issues?I’m having problems sending an email with one word document attached to 60 people. Every time I try to send I get a message server error try later.

@thenerdbrarian Oh man. I met the mother of my child in an AOL discussion group about Ani DiFranco. I’ll never forget the dial-up sound. My mom had a PC she used to dial in to the terminal at work, which we installed AOL on. Good times. I also remember dialing into bulletin boards on a C64.
