@Yekki_1 Stupid ******* website needed a valid email address to set it to. Guess who found another email address for the horny doppelganger? It's me. He signed up for something and changed his email to an AOL one at one point. Good news: I can let him know about the changes to his account

@trumanboyes I was on the internet before there was a world wide web. Before there were service providers. Before Google, before AOL, before Compuserve... When you had to find a newsgroup feed from a friend/colleague. I got mine from Fermilab, which had defense and educational connections.

@rozfost Or maybe it was tripod or angelfire? I can't remember. We never had AOL tho. My dad was always changing providers and programs, and then I'd try to use AOL at a friend's and ask "how do you search?" and "why can't you use the *normal* internet?"

@AdamBlickstein I never subscribed to AOL but, it took me, on the phone with the internet provider, about 10 hours over a week to connect my brand new computer. Our house wasn't connected, at all. lol.
