@seanjwestwood There are some really bad precedents (e.g., Verizon buying AOL/Yahoo; NewsCorp buying MySpace), so I wonder who will see value.

@GoNintendoTweet So if it’s so easy why not give us back virtual console? Of course they wont it’s the only reason their horrible online service sells.I like Nintendo but their online seems like it’s from the year 2000,it reminds of those AOL discs you would get for free everywhere

@maddoxrules @bwebbcam @GamingAndPandas Enron is an insane include here because Enron was a giant scam, comparing that to something that offers a service people actually use is crazy. AOL is also a hilarious include because it still exists.

@GetSpectrum BEWARE…. Their product is horrible. Their tech support is worthless. It’s simply all around a inferior product. You remember AOL? It’s similar.

AOL Had Instant Messanger and EVERYONE was on it, Non Stop, Addicted, NEEDED IT. And AOL kept thinking about monetizing it or making you pay for it, but never could because they knew what would happen. Eventually it happens anyway with online stuff.

@figgityfigs I keep thinking that it may not exist as a product/service, but it could be like AOL & Yahoo!, hanging around as brands that are “ready to make a comeback” long past their expiration date.

@JoelBrews @Miles_Bradley @MikeLovesBeer I didn’t mess with AOL much but AIM was the ****. I’m actually back on the one message board and it’s growing again. I miss the boards. The rest of them anyway
