Today I learned AOL bought second-rate social media site Bebo (remember that??) for $850m and sold it two years later for $10m. The CEO at the time, Randy Falco, then left to become the CEO of a major Spanish television network. Many such stories.

@aolmail why can’t I sign in on my laptop. U keep saying “unusual activity” for one account. All other aol accounts work fine. I also have access in the aol app on my phone and thru the Verizon mail app too. I want laptop access unless u have evidence of phishing pls. Experthire

With encouragement from the wrong people in AOL chat, it totally could've been me in HS, radicalization is a true & present danger for ALL
