    @unknwns0ul My first email account was with AOL in 2001. My 9-year-old son had to help me set it up because I had no clue. Ironically, I met a man in the AOL 'Ebony & Ivory' chat room in 2004, and we are still friends today

    Why not use being old. Age difference is an issue. I had lots of social opportunities i sacrificed at UCLA for him. I met him on AOL in high school. He wore a Panavisipn shirt and met me in the Century City Mall. He didn’t work for Panavisipn. He was an actor. He was my age now.

    @AppleSupport why do your devices have so much trouble receiving email. It sucks with Gmail and Aol. Message not downloaded from server constantly on AOL. Checking for mail forever to receive gmail. Going on for months . So annoyed. What is going on with this???

    By the early 2000s the web had consolidated. AOL still a (limping) web giant had also bought the most popular browser at the time: Netscape. And former GoTo now become Overture was a successful search advertising network.
