@elonmusk Reminds me of when AOL tanked. Investors lost a fortune and many rightly upset at AOL…But what few realized was that everyone was mad because deep down they cared and LOVED it. Stock rebounded through the roof and all those that sold were dumbfounded and sad

@AmyNewBlue AoL was my second, used it a lot when I was apart of the Pokemon Abode message board back before it went down in 2001. ICQ was my first, clans used to use it in online games back in the 90's lol. I miss the AiM Chats we used to have back then.

@KnightBoyo_ Fun cornbread fact: for like 2 years in the 2010’s I exclusively used aol as my web browser on my phone just as a gag. I thought it would be funny for people to see me attempt to look something up, and have them see that be my phone browser Ran like ****! Was worth for the joke

@sparkyabraham Nextdoor is the worst app of all time. I've been on the internet since AOL back in the day and I'd never spontaneously cursed out an entire group of people and deleted my account until I opened one there.
