@thatpetewoods Growing up, I was fascinated seeing how AOL, Yahoo, and other tech giants could fail. Especially when they seemed like they had it all. Now I see.

@lunaxxloveless Don't know been rocking pop up blockers since I got off aol. I actually purchased a computer and received a damaged ssd in it and used imagevenue to host the pictures of the damage to show them, and they complained about porn pop ups, never knew the site had any lol.

@emptywheel AOL charged for their service and Yahoo keeps trying to get me to pay for what has been free service. Elmo might screw the pooch here with the whole world watching him.More embarrassing than his pics squiring Gislaine Maxwell.

  • MikeOfManyMikes Mike's One of Millions (@MikeOfManyMikes) reported

@jewelsjml @aolmail @AOL Likewise. They're not about making money, they're about terrorizing because, what are we going to do about it? If they were about making money, they'd be advertising a paid mail service.

  • AltiMario ₳ltiMario (@AltiMario) reported

@IOHK_Charles What a genius, right? How foolish was the previous management not to think about it? Facebook could do the same, why not? Oh no wait, there is a problem, anyone remembers AOL? ops!

  • doschiers Sin Doschiers (@doschiers) reported

Sam: 10 4 Chicken Wing. Sin: Damn that was fast. Sam: It’s easy when you’re not being hacked. Sin: For real. I feel like I’m on AOL. J-Lo & Ben: Sinsam...! Sin: **** y’all. Lmao.

  • RoeVWadeBoggs Duncan Sheik Mohammed 🦃 (@RoeVWadeBoggs) reported

Instead of charging $8 for verification, Elon should adopt a pay-by-the-hour model like AOL had in the 90s. Bring back the login noise and I guarantee people will call it le epic bacon good sir and post the "shut up and take my money" screen from Futurama.
