I think I may have been into Billy Strings if he had just called himself William Apostol. I never took him seriously when he went out there with an AOL instant messenger screen name. “First name + thing I like”

  • IssuesWoman Margaret Kelley (@IssuesWoman) reported from Hoover, Alabama

@katyrix1 @evansiegfried @TheRickWilson I have an aol email and I just let the haters hate. I did giggle when I saw hotmail though. Everyone wants to look down on someone.

  • AdamBidner Adam Bidner (@AdamBidner) reported from Hoover, Alabama

@AOC is as relevant as @AOL. Sure she’s slow but she tries to connect. #youvegotmail #56Kmodem

My poor mother tried to use me as tech support to get some word docs off of Onedrive into an AOL email as attachments in a Mac. I'm Mac illiterate, so I was useless, and googling support was going to be a LOOOONNNG process. Hopefully one of my sisters is more successful.

you can NEVER get it back! BUT that's not all! Not only can you NOT get the HACKED EMAIL BACK, but you ALSO CANNOT REMOVE IT FROM YOUR PREMIUM PLAN! So @AOL and @YAHOO force you to PAY for a PREMIUM SERVICE that continues to KEEP the HACKER'S EMAIL A PREMIUM EMAIL! @FTC

chest hurts tonight, all the bad news on twitter and aol isn't helping.

  • wintersong Winter Tashlin (@wintersong) reported

@andrewkrok Same to both of those! Also, had an AOL account before AOL added access to the World Wide Web through their service (unless that was our Prodigy account).

  • KConnerWriter Kevin Conner (@KConnerWriter) reported

Well, @AOL and @Yahoo have decided to **** over its #AOL customers while violating @FTC laws and regulations. EVEN IF you are paying for a PREMIUM ACCOUNT, you NO LONGER have authority over all of the emails on the PREMIUM ACCOUNT. IF a HACKER takes over your EMAIL account,

@CosettePaneque Some of us in this country remember what it was like trying to cancel an AOL membership.

  • AtDoak Clark W. GrisNole (@AtDoak) reported

@420apestrong420 @My_friend_Mocha LOL - that is still the worst piece of advice I've ever seen on Social Media - dating back to the MySpace and AOL chat days

@BonVoyaged_ This quiz is marking ones wrong that I got right. The AOL Running Man, The Chic-Fil-A Cows, Coca-Cola Bears, StubHub Ticket Oak, and Icee Bear. Fix your quiz!

  • EephusTosser Eephus Tosser (@EephusTosser) reported

@StephBoudreaux1 @AstrosDan @Ariichiiyoko We went through them all. Prodigy, CompuServe, AOL. I used to run a BBS (Renegade rules! Wildcat sucks!) in the hours between school and my parents getting home from work, when they would need the phone line. 💀

Turns out I stupidly set up an account on an Asian service specialising in "smart" devices (i.e. the fan I bought). I linked my Facebook account with the service and forgot that said FB account's primary email was my deactivated AOL *email account*. (2/3)
