@AltcoinDailyio yeah-- just like Myspace, Aol, Cingular and everything else that was the first of its kind? LOL I can never tell if these statements are serious. I hope your followers can critically think and do their own research. BTC has 0 utility, slow transaction speed, and lighting sucks.

@JoshBobrowsky I had to give my email over the phone the other day, used my AOL email bc it’s become my semi-spam email account. I had to repeat A-O-L to the guy twice (which is fine), but his response, “Oh, AOL, got it, never heard of that one.”

@catturd2 Can we shut you down, like AOL used to do on our computers? And we never use that old thing again since it’s decrepit and out of date. Kinda like Phocahontas over here.

@AnonSoapbox @vitaliyk To clarify, in 1993, AOL was definitely not an Internet Service Provider (ISP). When you dialed into their network (which could only be done using the software on their install disk), you were connected to their closed, proprietary system. AOL did not speak HTML then.

@aolmail @MartinSLewis @thismorning can anyone help please. My husband has passed away AOL won’t reset his password for me because they cannot verify my account even though I have been with them for over 20 years. I need to inform his friends abroad of his passing. So stressful

@DrOz AOL is a pretty popular internet service (aside from those pesky CD's they keep mailing out) so that's actually a weighty endorsement.

@vitaliyk Indeed. I worked for AOL for nearly 10 years before they closed the call center down where I was working.

in conclusion, never trust a person who still uses an AOL account

@Grummz It has the same problems as AOL did when it first started, with no way to stop anyone from creating their own chat rooms and spamming the hell out of everyone else's. Some people are making a lot of money off this platform, but I am not one of them.
