I've been online since BBS. I was here day 1 for the WWW. I can still sing the dialup TCP/IP handshake of AOL. I know about virtual relationships. I have friends in most countries now. Some are even 25+ yr long pals. Never once have I assumed I would spend my life with one. #odd

@laikavtuber ****** hell. Got so bad on AOL chat that if you didn't meet or exceed someone's paragraph count, you were effectively ignored in terms of combat or conflict. When I tell you that people were describing the way the wind breezed through their eyebrows in order to one up each
