@PunishDem1776 I’ll never forget that day. I had my first computer and I was watching the news. They said he had a profile on AOL. So, I quickly looked him up and saved the shilling text of his profile. Profile was gone the following day.

Remember pre-Napster, AOL music sharing chatrooms where you'd ask mods for their song list & you could request WAV files? They'd send🎵 & on AOL you could actually pause downloads. It ruled! BUT…Napster was 100x better AND…MyTunes on a college network was 10k better > Napster

@LasagnaSpicy your display name reminds of when my friends and i used to crack mod pins for corporate phone conference lines and then use the dial-out mode to call two different support lines (often AOL) and listen while they tried to provide each other with support
