@AOLSupportHelp A net support system that can't help with sign-in or password issues? I have been unable to change my password for months. I am told I have to pay for "live" phone support. Since access to websites is dependent on AOL access I AM A CYBER HOSTAGE OF AOL. Thanks(?).

Back in 2006 I got into using xfire. Great program to integrate yahoo,aol, and msn messager in one program with its own message service and server browser for games. They had screenshot and record during the time. Shortly after in 2007 it got live stream capabilities,

@c_lawson Never been ”jailed” but I’ve ditched FB for the same reason when it displayed authoritarian tendencies like AOL did. “Community standards”is BS excuse back then, and it still is. Nonexistent in the Interwebs. Were only brought in to justify controlling content not their liking.

@c_lawson I put in a few of my artwork & my poetry. They took it down. I challenged them on that. AOL kept falling back on “community standards” bit. Kept telling them they don’t exist. “Community”is just a word. Everybody has their standards. Even I have standards. Eventually, ditched it.

After over 20 years, I’m sad to announce the death of my AOL email address. As of today, I have finally migrated over every subscription and login I had, and now it is laid to rest in the Internet graveyard with my MySpace, Blogspot, and Google+ accounts.

@AOLSupportHelp how am I supposed to reset my password for my email ? Have tried several times using the various codes sent through but to no avail. I can’t access email to contact you because I’ve forgotten my password and need to reset it. This is becoming a circular problem

@joncoopertweets I really think she is just an idiot. She is one of those people who believe everything they hear. Probably forwarded chain AOL emails back in the day and thought it was all true.
