@MrGGallacher Yep. Dial up modem. Sign into AOL first. Proper crap. Kids don’t know how good they’ve got it these days (typing on a mobile phone with instant connection)

Facebook comments on short form videos will make you lose all faith in humanity. I’ve never seen people be so aggressively mean for absolutely no reason and I’ve been online since AOL. I mean I used to play COD live as a GIRL & those toxic chats weren’t even as vicious. 💀

@Wolfiesmom Valerie, @AOL is showing a picture of a woman that is not you but the caption is saying it’s you, you need to check it out because it is shining a very bad light on you.

@hoosierdoggie @FOOL_NELSON @SunBleachedFOIA AOL was crap compared to the original Compuserve, which even worked great with my Atari 800xl and 130xes and a 2400-9600 baud modem. Then AOL bought Compuserve and destroyed it with the "new" Compuserve, driving both into the ground. In 1984, which internet are you referring to?

@Google Why google can't you fix security with Google drive..non stop strangers sharing files.?this has been a problem with you guys for years. You need to make it so people have to ask for permission to share files..hell AOL did it..why can't you.

@unhealthytruth I miss the days of Usenet, AOL and the blogs where people could speak their mind and not get shut down for not agreeing with whatever agenda the site has. Really miss having neutral sites just interested in facilitating conversation.

@PjdPeter It'll eventually get taken over by AOL users, and then inexplicably morph into a service for distributing pirated movies?
