@norgeeek @drewwagar I'd say it's fair to replace Blockbuster with any old VHS rental service for us. The same when AOL related things pop up

  • AmericanGundam riley's last wish (@AmericanGundam) reported

I was born in the internet in 1994 with TEN using AOL. 26 hour DL forever patch. 56k, if you fail... entire download again. wrong ISP, you'd be ****** for weeks....

@trinh_pham13 @LoveRetroBTW AOL (and other incompatible dialup services) absolutely had something to do with their network service not panning out. Bad adoption and returns means that was a waste of resources they didn't have. "pick up an economics book" lol

  • riya_rsp16 Pampered Bookworm (@riya_rsp16) reported

@zhansverse Same. Out of all other productions I thought AOL's team would give us a detailed happy ending & to be fair they wrapped up all the side characters stories well (except for that stupid redemption attempt for YQ's dad 😑) But only the main couples didn't get what they deserved 😭

  • SergioVengeance Sergio Vengeance 🇺🇲🎮🤘 (@SergioVengeance) reported

@Jehochman @Section_230 @jimmy_wales The classic Zeran v. AOL Section 230 emotional appeal that Zeran made. "I don't know who the anonymous troll was who defamed me and ruined my life on your website. So I'll just sue AOL for damages the troll caused me instead." Go after the bad people, not the web owners.

  • KeithHaussel Keith Haussel (@KeithHaussel) reported

@justified_jamms It was when AOL had chatrooms, mid 90s. Awful opening line in retrospect!
