@chrisstanchak Yeah apps are just fancy AOL channels, due to App Store distribution requirement. It stops on the web. If govt or ISPs start blocking network requests, line is crossed for sure.

Is this going to drive the "unbundling" of social networks? Seems antithetical to the whole "network effect", but does this effectively turn into a bunch of AOL chat rooms? If so, what are the implications? Does it make the "echo-chamber" effect worse?

Did I deserve this punishment? Yeah, probably. I was being an *** and causing unnecessary suspicion and anxiety while also playing fast and loose with the truth. I took my suspension and never used AOL again (that is, until I used an alias and the home’s fax line to connect). (5)
