I still continue to have absolutely no regrets about quitting AOL Discord servers (and never intend to rejoin any of them or participate in any more "reunion" activities). Gaming and streaming servers are for the most part SO much more fun, especially with the right mods.

@BradMossEsq That information super highway was all the rage. I wonder whatever happened to it. I guess it went down with AOL.

@Romulus_Himself @DankInEffect AOL not wanting wrestling when they acquired turners **** is why WCW went out of business. The **** product was what made that an easy sale to shareholders. The product was **** because there wasn't a Twitter to make the backstage drama part of the product

Imagine if Congress had regulated the internet with only Microsoft and AOL in mind. That's what bad defaults in crypto policy could do to web3. We can't hinder startup and emerging protocol growth, even if the bad headlines persist. We need a sandbox.

@chadloder Yeah if I wanted to help them, I would 1) host email for them 2) recommend them old school providers with weaker security AOL, potentially Yahoo? Not super sure 3) pressure social services to change policy I would not 1) write an expose on the evil tech bros improving security

Question. If you are a student loan provider, say @MOHELA, why is your website always down at night? Like did you only pay for hosting during business hours? Are you paying AOL for internet access minutes in Missouri still?

@AOLSupportHelp 3 days later this feature IS still not working. AOL is bent on forcing users out of outlook to their antiquated service for only those loyal not to use a gmail account. Are you proud of working there????

@jackiebobby6 @IAmQ1745 @CREWcrew Private companies can limit. AOL had the issue way back when it was the place to be online. Military also has limits to what troops can say. Government employees have limits.
