@elonmusk This will go down in history as the biggest acquisition failure since AOL & Time Warner. $44bn pissed up against the wall. All because Elon had his feelings hurt. ******* ridiculous.

@UkfaUa @PowurSolarTexas @CNN I got my news from reading the paper or magazines. But, online news came around when I was about 15 or so, I think (AOL online, etc...). I've never had to watch tv or listen to podcasts or whatever to get my news. I just don't like listening to people yap away. Not my thing.

When rich people blow money on stupid **** (social media companies that can evaporate i.e. AOL, or getting to Mars) instead of investing in healing our planet, clean water, affordable electricity, clean air, less destruction (war, pollution), it makes ne CRAZY! INVEST IN EARTH!!!

I used to hang out in prodigy chat rooms and remember transitions to AOL ones. I never expected to be on Twitter forever. I’ll miss some of you guys but I will also enjoy watching Elon steer this into the ground while losing a ton of money.

@aolmail Hello! My husband uses AOL mail in the UK and seems to have an issue with sending to and receiving from @btinternet.com email addresses. Is that a known issue?

  • HymieHaHa Dough Boy (@HymieHaHa) reported

@WatcherGuru @BereniceRoss14 Twitter is going to become a clunky mashup of various fee-based activities, just like the old AOL. I expect sometime soon when you login there will be an audio clip that says, "You've got likes"...

  • UlrichSchmidt10 Uli Schmidt (@UlrichSchmidt10) reported

@plutolovesmen @ShapedInternet If by internet veteran you mean you logged on AOL back in 2004 for about 5 minutes and never touched it again until you had to in 2020

  • mer_hartley Ms. Faintly Macabre (@mer_hartley) reported

@YoSteveees @annevclark No one needs to write *anything* here, silly. She brought up AOL You brought up Yahoo to put down AOL (didn’t need to, but here we are) I mentioned Compuserve You didn’t know the reference, but replied nonsensically anyway (didn’t need to, but…) See how that works both ways?
