  • nemalki Jeff Harris (@nemalki) reported

@karlrolson @TheRealDonEast The problem is that in the Time/AOL/AT&T eras, nobody understood how to sell the WB brand to the masses. Even Seven Arts and Kinney did better jobs, and they weren't really trying. They need to push the brand on an international scale. Emphasis it more.

@TedLeonsis @WashWizards @JohnWall Shut ******** up bro you ruined everything and I’ll never step foot into a wizards game again bc of it. Sorry *** owner. You haven’t done **** since AOL was a thing you useless excuse of a rich person.

I’ve been hit with the weirdest wave of 90s nostalgia right now; I miss my RPG fam from those days. We were teenagers spread out across the country (literally) and spend nights playing games together in AOL chat rooms. I miss that so bad right now.

  • AlexPeregrine Alexander Peregrine (@AlexPeregrine) reported

Costco makes 152.7 billion dollars a year and runs their login servers on a Pentium II with an AOL dial-up modem.

  • gwestr Greg Wester (@gwestr) reported

it was so much more believable that people would subscribe to "Internet TV" with an AOL Time Warner cable box than it is believable Tesla will run a transportation network of subscription cars that have no drivers anyway, same catalyst and same ending. loose money, bad forecast

  • quailebLXIX Quaileb (@quailebLXIX) reported

@catcontentonly really proves millennials had it best when our cringe was all splurted out in aol chatrooms to a only a couple people at most. The poor teens of today have to broadcast all of their adolescent cringe

  • Aromi16 Aromi (@Aromi16) reported

@suhgasit3e So I did not get the duplicity of the discussion. Usually Soompi Forums is not that bad, Unless you have theories clashing(Like TKEM) and a character fighting (IONBOTO) or AOL (RY). But I find it fun. Lol.

  • marathiputra marathiputra🇮🇳 (@marathiputra) reported

@Ateendriyo I have seen a lot of bad press for Arya samaj because of them twisting Vedas and don't they want to abolish moorti poojan. Apart from that other orgs you mentioned are doing a good job especially ISHA and AOL they are very much respected in diaspora hindus.

@elliottdunstan I am so so so SO glad that my late teens and early 20s took place in an era before the internet became the Cultural Phenomenon it has become like, I said and did some really stupid **** but it was all in AOL chat rooms that no one has access to anymore
