    I remember reading about Eternal September - basically a load of old nerds getting upset about AOL being invented and them now having to share the internet with mums and rude people- and thinking it sounded a bit gatekeepy, but the Twitter Blue debacle is having me wonder.

    @NHLtoAtlanta @allanetmanski The last failure was because of Atlanta Spirit ownership group. They spent the entire time owning the club suing each other after buying from AOL Time Warner. They truly only cared for the Hawks and arena rights. Their focus was never putting a great team on the ice.

    I didn't have AOL at my house when I was a kid, but it had AT&T WorldNet instead. It had the most jarring startup sequence. Which DSL service did you have? 💻
