@AOLSupportHelp after 2 days I have realised i can't get help from your lot, complete waste of time

  • ScottEvansOnAir Scott Evans (@ScottEvansOnAir) reported from Elsmere, Kentucky

@LambertJan42 @EBischoff They beat Raw for more than 100 weeks total. WCW didn’t go bankrupt. It was sold effectively for that amount to WWE because AOL-TW decided to end TV for wrestling killing its value. There was some bad TV in 99-01 but no matter what AOL was ending it.

  • MBTACrimes MBTA Crimes Against Taxpayers (@MBTACrimes) reported

@Anitaatinarrrr @MBTA The Cathode ray tube monitor is broken already while the one from 1996 that ran AOL still runs in someone's basement.

  • Chris_W_Hull Christopher W Hull (@Chris_W_Hull) reported

@elizableu In 1995, Abuse follow up took care of 95% of matters with law enforcement back in the AOL/small ISP. We simply just spot checked .1% of email attachments and made one report to law enforcement and chose to cancel one user a month. Word got around the underworld quickly.

  • LisaBrandes6 LisaBrandes (@LisaBrandes6) reported

@PearlF I still have an AOL address. People think I'm a real freak But it still works so I just never bothered to change it. But yes, that is a big risk with any digital platform. They never quite go away... They just go zombie.

  • solgob_ Solgob (@solgob_) reported

@KevinKoolxHalo @BigRobEnergy Lmaooo damn. To be fair, your name looks like a 12 year old’s AOL instant messenger name

  • Red_6iant Blaine Shores (@Red_6iant) reported

@EBischoff Had the AOL/Time Warner merger never happened, do you think WCW would still be around today? If not, how much longer do you think it would have gone?

  • cronogold Robert (@cronogold) reported

@majornelson I tried linking my Geocities page, but it no longer exists. Also, I have extra AOL trial CDs for anyone who wants one. Great coasters, never break!

@profgalloway you often talk on @PivotPod about AOL’s purchase of Timewarner as the worst acq in history followed by the recent acquisition of Twitter. Which makes me wonder…what’s the best tech acq of all time? Facebooks’s purchase of Instagram? Google’s purchase of YouTube?
