Twitter was my last acct on social. I was on AOL Friendster ICQ LiveJournal MySpace Facebook (2x) Twitter (2x), ClubTalk for 3m, that was a hot *** garbage fire. Never saw anything lose quality so quickly. B/C of ClubTalk I jumped into IG but don’t keep up. Next stop 🤷🏽🫠💀👻🌵

Simpsons memes might not be at the height of their powers right now, but they’ll never go away fully. One of the first things I did when we got home internet in the 90s was use AOL to download .wav files of Simpsons jokes. Oh, the bountiful harvest of Ralph Wiggum compilations.

@laurenboebert @elonmusk 9th , so many of our amendments bruised or just entirely broken. Its sad that we as us citizens have to enumerate when our rights apply and its up to a Rich man to buy back freedom on one platform. Just one. @LilFil8 @ElieNYC Mmmmm. No, I expect what will happen is the same that happened to the Usenet and AOL. Death by slow attrition as it becomes incrementally less useful and more unpleasant. Twitter isn’t a burger joint where people can just go somewhere else and get what they want.

@wheeloftimerook The forsaken are powerful and wreaked all kinds of damage in the AoL, but ultimately it is their selfishness which makes them predictable/useful to the dark one. Arguably Lanfear is the least true to this, having had a thirst for power that outstripped reliance on the Dark One.
