    @allie__voss I once told a woman that was she "tiresome" because she would always IM me on AOL but would never actually contribute to the conversation herself; I was expected to entertain her The record shows that she dumped me, but when you call one "tiresome" you are telling her to do so

    @Konviction_ *rephrase Sign up for AOL, get a pack of blank CDs. Walk into parking lot, call AOL to cancel. They hated me.

    when i was working as a cashier, there was this older lady who would come in every so often. we were talking about how she tried to snag a reserved AOL username through support, but i never saw her again after I said I was acquainted with ppl from the original AOL community

    Indie show discourse is so rancid that it just makes me not want to get invested in indie shows. It sucks here and it sucks on Bluesky. tbh it sucks anywhere it happens. Do it on AOL messenger if ya want, it'll still suck

    @RealBookerScott I’m 23 out of 24 I never had a AOL acct. Barely had a MySpace but enough to be able to count it.
