@AOLSupportHelp really disappointed in your customer service - promised 2 weeks ago they would get back to me and they never did. It was my first order with you - I’m never ordering with you again

I wanna go back to the days when AOL Keywords were a thing, not because that was convenient or anything, I just think we can all agree that 1999 was a **** ton better than 2021..

@CarmenCrincoli I very much believe the telling of this tale (was asked who was my worst customer) in an interview got me a "no hire". Because AoL, connect between Windows and MSN support was non-existent. I still believe I did the right thing to get her connected that night

@the_m4a @CarmenCrincoli Lol Literally could have been my mom, I remember at least 5 calls like that. Our 56k modem was on old phone lines only capable of 28.8kbps and MSN had several flags we had to set to get the connection to establish whereas AOL worked but was stupid expensive.

Happy St Patricks Day to Google, HP, Apple, IBM, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Pfizer, GSK, PayPal, Microsoft, Yahoo, eBay, AOL and Intel. Who all claim to be from Ireland so they could dodge billions in tax. Never iron a four-leaf clover, because you don't want to press your luck

@BriannaWu @GideonZhi That group first to grow up /w network access, didn't learn it was 99% bullshit. Earlier folks got online in college. Higher bar of entry. Smacked down by older classmates for stupidity online. Then AOL got connected and it wasn't just idiot freshmen.
