@wkyc Everyone was dependant on AOL too. The world got over it. Let Facebook fail, and you wouldn't notice in a month.

@kleinwort @Stonekettle I left FB in 2016 and I totally agree. I see my MIL/FIL’s smiles when they see their ggrandkids and the frustration when things go wrong. B4 dementia, Mom had an AOL dial up. Called alot for help, sometimes I’d get annoyed. What I would give now to be annoyed one more time.

@waldojaquith I assure you, they cannot. One of my frequent fliers at drop in time is someone who just doesn't seem to be able to get Google photos to stop filling up his iPhone and then he has mystery problems some of them involving AOL.

@lil_kyloren Yikes, that sounds expensive!! What was AOL back then, $4.99 a month? I'm guessing, but that sounds about right. I still remember my first ever computer. We never had one when I was growing up. I think about 1997 or 1998. I had to share phone line w/ roommate too!

@AOL One piece of the $3.5 trillion spending bill that the media is unlikely to tell you about—their bailout...a special journalism “tax credit” equal to 50% of the salary of each journalist—up to $50,000 per journalist annually." -Adam Guillette, Daily Signal.

@AOL you have terrible customer service. Your website is garbage, your tech support is garbage. It shouldn’t be this hard to talk to someone or get into an account.

Not to give @HousefromDC another job but... Let's talk DMV sports on a podcast. Yes, I know we've NEVER met. But I've been reading about you and @jacko2323 since @BillSimmons AOL days, so it's like we've been friends for 2+ decades.

@thomaskaine5 Interesting. But,telecom often mixes in w/news groups or big production companies. Like AOL, FOX, and Disney to name a few. Good to know about at&t. Plus, their customer service sucks!
