@DirtyBilgeRat @myspacetom Coming from Jamaica, we never used / really knew anything about AOL lol. It was all about MSN Messenger haha. (Had to even Google what "keywords" were just now)

@TwitterSupport Can you please help? I can’t receive confirmation codes via aol to access my other account @_justsayings_ Since aol was sold, I can’t get alerts and would like to change the email address. Thank you

@JoJoFromJerz Someone dropped their soap in an AOL chat room. I picked it up and we ended up married with 2 kids. Never handle someone's slippy bar... It can lead you to unexpected places.

@xyztoni I see ppl mention AOL. In the 1990s it has all aspects of a social network, a messenger, chatrooms, and more. If that counts then AOL for me. Back in the day you had to have their App and service for that. Stuff like that couldn't run in a browser without Java applets

  • gaur_abhineet BLAZING HASHIRA (@gaur_abhineet) reported

@ChifuyuMatsun0 IKR AOL was much better then TOHO crap of 10hr

  • jimmygunawanapp BLENDER SUSHI ULTRA 24/7 - Blend Love Peace 4 All (@jimmygunawanapp) reported

@nrose Legacy email, and GMail has been a weird affair, it's my "main email" but I only need it to activate Apple iCloud back then and I need GMail to properly activate Google Service, YouTube etc. The rest of email service is weird... Microsoft Hotmail, never AOL, weird Yahoo! mail.

@PalmerReport They’ve been garbage ever since AOL dummied it down, when Snowden was their “October Surprise” over industry standard troubleshooting software. We used Prism in the mid 90s and we were told to watch out for bogus calls from Orange Caligula. Too many clients just called to bully

  • CJ_NFA Not Financial Advice (@CJ_NFA) reported

@AlarisV I'm not surprised... I remember 1996 and computers had very slow processors, usually around 100 MHz. Just a few years later when I was working for AOL... Circa 2000... They were 10X faster. 😬

@barkmeta AIM - @AOL Instant Messanger - I was sad when they turned the service off. I loved AIM on my tmo sidekick ID🤓
