@the_moviebob Remember when AOL bought Time Warner and all this crap happened, the AT&T bought Time Warner and all this crap happened, and now Discovery... Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results...

  • BawerkBomb Bomb Bawerk ❌🥾🐍 (@BawerkBomb) reported

@6lackceo @JussGregK @FavGhostwriter I remember I used to make this complaint when I was like 11-years-old in AOL chatrooms. You're about 2 clicks away from the Navy SEAL copypasta.

  • TheNewApofisu Apofisu (@TheNewApofisu) reported

Zaslav is the worst thing to happen to Warner Bros. and DC since AOL. (And possibly related to my former boss, who left.)

  • Jason jason@calacanis.com (@Jason) reported

@jasonlk @thesamparr Media has never had insane multiples… weblogsinc was a random rare early sale with $150-200k in revenue and a 150-200x multiple (~30m)… but AOL determined it was going to be their entire pivot to content Buzzfeed is the most wild example right now… check their P/S 👀

  • arc2one3 Alex Campbell (@arc2one3) reported

@Lucas_Shaw @TaylorLorenz Discovery doesn’t understand Hollywood biz culture. AOL had the same problem. WB/HBO spends money to make it right. Creatives like that. Discovery is where you go to make disposable tv on the cheap. This merger will end same as AOL did

  • maynardbrainard Prof. Rip Squiggly, PhD (@maynardbrainard) reported

@10000fleas @UncleLeftShark @sleepymurph They never made you change your password complexity? Oh, AOL. Literally never change

  • AceHarold1937 Harold #1 Aces Fan (@AceHarold1937) reported

  • BillsMafia_107 George (@BillsMafia_107) reported

This service is an absolute joke ! Paying a 100 bucks a month for internet that’s less reliable then AOL DIALUP WAS 30 YEARS AGO !!! @breezeline

  • Grndma211and1 Beth ☮️ (@Grndma211and1) reported

So, @AOL, why do you promote @SenatorRounds' lies about the Inflation Reduction Act? It will be the best and only law to help Americans since the GQP Tax Scam in 2017. Why is @AOL promoting the lies?

Equally unusual is the way the NSA extracts what it wants, according to the document: “Collection directly from the servers of these U.S. Service Providers: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple.”
