@KidDynamiteBlog I never played it. I think I just missed it. Remember seeing the ads / boxes and thinking it must be the most exciting thing ever. I was downloading Cindy Crawford gifs off AOL. They took like 15 minutes a piece, and one chunk of the image would load at a time.

@LaurenGallaway Internet was around before 96. Dial up modems super slow but it was around. We had AOL then and I'd email home while I was stationed in Saudi. When I was back home on 96 would go dancing on Saturday Nights.

@Sunglar I had access to the internet in 96 via the community college library, so it was a couple hours here and there, never on weekends. I think that by November my gf had AOL at home.

I genuinely don’t understand @BuckeyeInternet prices when their service is awful. I pay damn near $100 for wifi when it’s giving AOL dial up.

@beckisaid Lol we had the internet in 1996. It actually wasn’t too bad. Compuserve, AOL, & Prodigy were the isp’s to choose from. It was an exciting time to be a junior in high school for me.

@tiffmc1013 We had this service called Prodigy before AOL, which was like online message boards. That was early 90s. And then AOL came in and took over - we thought we were big time with AOL!
