    @Shopify Maybe just do this for the US? The rest of the world has never used AOL. To me there is no nostalgia to that sound; it's just plain annoying to be honest.

    @BarterBlex Walk into RadioShack back in the day, take all the free AOL minutes CDs off the modems. Scan for a university number in your local area, hop on it. Call forwarding. Never pay for dialup.

    Remember the days of AOL CDs? They were freely available everywhere. Making the service pervasive was a massive win for the company. It was also its peril.
