@dietz_meredith I would play several computer games that my dad forbid. I'd just delete them and redownload every time. Poor guy had no idea. And let's not even get into the AOL chatrooms 😱

@pen_is_mighty I was an "AOL Scout" back then, and I can see the signs. There is too much they DON'T do and to much they DO. It is becoming too obvious that they don't give a flip about users, they ban for every whim and often false and the "oversight board" is doing ****. They're doomed.

@scott_lew_is Agreed. It will be the AOL of chains. In a decade it will exist only to query past data and migrate TVL. Other chains can run a full EVM already! $ETH is dead, people just don't realize it yet. Billions of $ locked and the compiler allows integer overflow errors... C'mon.

@johnedwardxo @RonFilipkowski I miss the days when **** like this spread via AOL emails with "SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!!" at the bottom rather than Facebook echo chambers.

AOL tech support - Yes AOL bought @Verizon Re: Oh really .. I don't think so Really VZW sold AOL assets to Apollo Global Management . PSA : AOL now deactivates accounts after 1 yr; so I would not recommend their service for legal business or business purposes in general.

@Dave92442188 @LesWoods12 @truebill Ahh yes AOL! I would call to cancel and they’d just keep offering free months. Had a few years of free service if I remember correctly. lol
