Look at AOL. They were completely incompetent, as stupid as the day is long, a blackhole of failure, but they still exist to this day, much to the regret of their own employees.

@AstroKatie Even more than the toxic content and the horrible security ... I hate the layout. Facebook is a visual mess. It’s an assault on the eyes. It looks like a site designed in 1997. It looks like it should be part of AOL.

@jdiannedotson Don't miss the slow speeds of dial up and AOL but do miss some of the Compuserve forums and of course the old BBS's and old Usenet. The PC is an appliance like the washing machine today, the novelty is gone. I guess that's what I miss the most.
