should i ignore potential copyright problems and release my aol set on spotify n stuff maybe i should remove all the sound clips from the movie?
@misantroopje @CarshenahJ For me, people couldn't get through with phone calls when I was online. There were times my cousin would hop on AOL messenger and tell me to get ******** off the internet so he can call me lol
@choomnice If they are both single, then what is the issue? I’ve been a Yang Zi fan since the AOL, and I always want her to be happy. It’s sad she can’t even be free in her own private space, and there are those bringing her down by throwing malice on what can easily happen between friends.
@DavidblogerICBW We were still learning so much about email and the Internet back then; heck, the government didn't even have servers set up during Powell's tenure. If I remember correctly, he used an AOL email address because of that. The government was slow to get on that bandwagon.
@PokemonTCGDrops Does the customer support email end with @ aol .com? Mans running his site off DSL connection on a clear green iMac from 2002.
@CatieOsaurus Two types of kids: those who make a cool curtain with AOL discs and those who get into disc fights with their friends, throwing them at each other and pretending they’re the bad guy in the Dolph Lundgren movie I Come in Peace
Least likely: Sure, AOL fought. But they lost. Most likely: No packaged internet portal gaming service ended up doing well in the long run. All of them failed and the open model of the internet won.
@MiamiMoleMan On the flip side my kids will never know the horror of having their parents read the transcripts with someone from AOL support explaining why we are banned
@engineers_feed AOL getting access to Usenet was pretty god awful. Give me, give me, give me, me too, me too, me too.
