@ohhoe I thought about this, I am this age, and while I was an excessively online child, ‘online’ **** was absolutely a part of IRL social life by the time I was in middle school. AOL instant messenger was a big deal.

@EpochTimes For any followers, re subscription: the epoch times sure makes it difficult to cancel, I hear. Apparently you need to call, watch a video blah blah…some might remember the old AOL model of customer entrapment…

I actually worked as help desk level 1 tech support for AOL I don't even remember lol I believe it was America online First internet dial up I took phone calls walked people thru lost disrupted internet if you can believe that. Great money I was so young didn't know any
