@shaddaypolony @davelanger2k Not really dude. It failed due to overpaying over the hill stars . Not making new stars 2 many guys having creative control and the AOL time Warner buyout and the network that no longer wanted wrestling on their station.. maybe read the rise and fall of wcw

@JacksofAmerica I did. AOL didn’t let us use the internet and the phone at the same time since we used it on dial up. I remember the god awful sound you’d hear if you accidentally picked up the phone when someone was online too.

@Amigo03 @LFCHelp I did a day at the ticket office recently and found out there was a problem with AOL email addresses, if I recall they will neverget the email.

@SonnyBunch Right, but AOL was raking in dial-up cash for like a decade after that model "died" How is there no service willing to milk money from senior citizens who would rather just pay more to not have to deal with this new model?

@danielharan @Vadeboncoeur_Al No problem. The critiques at the time seemed that I recall seemed very focused on the pathologies of the specific platform — AOL, Usenet, CompuServe, etc.

@thejoycelai This is fkn dumb. Just straight up. This is dumb. Wtf is ripple? You mean $xrp? A decentralized coin. Which is used by ripple, a company with an enormous connection with central banks & governments. #Bitcoin is #Aol. Enough said.
