@PsychopathBtc @stephanlivera I don’t think comparing a payments network to AOL is particularly useful. There are better payment networks now I use instead of LN. I don’t think it has come a long way, unfortunately. It’s ok, I’ve no real use for it. Main chain payments have many advantages for me.

@elonmusk Twitter going the route of AOL chatrooms. I give this platform maybe 2 years max unless/until you take the albatross off. Hyper-curation is NEVER going to be the answer. We have "block" & "mute" that's all we need. We're being managed like children in every aspect of our lives.🛑

@SpaceTimeAlien @draeonic @alexstamos The scale on that chart is a problem. 500 million people is still 1/16 of the world’s population; it’s just a lot smaller than 2 billion. The chart also leaves off sites that declined in popularity over that time frame, like MySpace and AOL.

@AubryAndrews Qt…please tell me we aren’t still using that for “cutie”…someone reassure me, please. It was terrible in the AOL and ICQ days, and not much has changed. I also do not like the angle of his head. He’s sizing them up for a skin suit, no doubt.
