@anon_opin I still remember the day when I figured out I could manually configure my dial-up connection with my AOL account and didn't have to use their horrible software. It was like a whole new computing world opened up before me.

@manicXBT Nope. The elephant in the room is people are too dumb to get it. I do think all of finance will be connected through this system, but you will get watered down AOL, with fund manager/government automatons and bots, ran by corpos.

  • CrumbandBone Stay home or wear the &%*!^$? MASK (@CrumbandBone) reported

@amandablount2 @AOL I remember them falling out of every issue of Mac World like snow. And they were always in the mail "FRREEEE 100,000 HOURS!!!"

@intocryptoverse Ethereum is old tech. Slow, clunky, expensive. The world is moving on just like they did from MySpace and AOL. $ada $dot $Bnb $bsc $atom $xtz

  • rjrscott Roderick Scott (@rjrscott) reported

@johnhuggan I got some stuff from AOL late 2020 regarding use of third party email apps like the iPhone and AOLs encryption not supporting the sign in.I went through the security sign in stuff through their email link and it’s working away.

  • neurovagrant Ian (@neurovagrant) reported

@pi8you Looks like AOL might've ********** IMAP authentication in particular. Traditional IMAP settings returned auth errors since Monday. Removing and readding worked fine but added an OAuth token.

  • Rlitch1 Roy Litchfield (@Rlitch1) reported

@AOL you may wish to take down the yahoo story about 2 children in Middlesborough being fined. The caption to the police image refers to a story from 9 years ago.....
