  @0hour1 You're telling me that the modem dialup jingle that automatically plays in my head every time I see that AOL login image (or one of the millions of AOL install floppies or disks in someone's junkndrawer... None of it is real??? I need to see a doctor.

  @mysteriouskat I never read books after AOL. Everything I needed to know was on the internet. I literally had zero use for most books and it's not to say they aren't useful, but I just came up at a different time. I've been glued to the computer ever since.

  @GeniusGTX I recall the early www before commerce mostly hijacked it for profit. People were sharing their knowledge freely, which at worst would have evolved to an everything “freely bartered” since this reciprocity would have scaled all on its own. 🤔 I laughed at AOL, the middleman.

  @JamieMcullough @hamids @DeepIceValue I rode AOL from 1998-2000. I rode AAPL from 2010 to 2019. I rode NVDA from 2017 to 2026. I rode TSLA from 2019 to 2023. I honestly appreciate the advice, but I’m good. If the outlook starts to look bad, I will sell. I do not have a problem selling a stock if the thesis has changed. But, I won’t sell, just because a stock is up a lot. If I did that with my previous investments, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

  I played on a waterbed when I was younger, and I've had cameras where you had to develop the film, so I guess the only thing I never had was an AOL address.

  Lol if Russo doesn't save wwe with his amazing ideas, wwe loses the war to wcw. Wcw still get canceled by the new AOL bosses cause they didn't care for wrestling at all. You'll be left with roh being created and I don't need to tell yall how bad that is for the business

  @smallest_sparky @IconicChriss Wrong! Hogan put over Arn Anderson, Flair, Luger, Sting, Kidman, Vampiro....He literally made Paul Wight aka Big show into a star WCW got pretty bad to the end creatively But don't excuse the money laundering & self sabotage done by AOL Time warner either. If they cared about WCW, they would've easily put them on another night & rebooted
