    @someguyonx97 @AskYoshik Internet growth was overhyped I never witnessed it's abilities and cost/value overhyped though like AI. People could readily afford internet access and 5th graders could use it to its potential via AOL or Netscape. Not so much for AI We agree the bubble pop is going to be big

    @GoodBadFlicks I've worked for several ISP's—AOL, Prodigy, MSN plus eBay; never had a single official meeting that was worth a damn. Had one unofficial meeting with an AOL veteran at Denny's after work that was very enlightening, worth a year of training in letting me know how the company really worked.

    @61Devlin @TheRajGiri It wasn't sold to WWF at that point-he lost power in the AOL/Time Warner merger before Vince bought WCW-why Jamie Kellner was able to cancel wrestling being broadcast on the network. Schivaone would no longer have been there after Vince bought it either-he would have been home

    @Switchblade97 @smolek WCW was worth $70M with those privileged slots AND the bloated contracts. If AOL relented on allowing wrestling but WCW were required to renegotiate the TV deals to market rate, it's not worth $70M WWF paid $4M because they were weren't required to take on the bad contracts
