  @MeganTStevenson not to mention AOL Mail! My 91 year-old uncle was on AOL mail until he died. My guess is that he was a representative customer.

  This is exactly the kind of infrastructure-level integration that proves we’re past the build phase 👀 Ripple successfully tested as a blockchain enhancer for the SWIFT network (Hyperledger + ISO 20022) back in June 2025, and now it’s moving toward actual integration. Remember when the internet went from heavy build-out to mass adoption in 1998? I was an AOL shareholder and worked at UUNET selling the pipes. The parallels with XRP and the Internet of Value today are identical — regulatory clarity + real infrastructure hooks = adoption phase. We’re entering the Green Zone. 🍻

  The only problem I have with X is that I never feel like I’m genuinely talking to people or replying/getting replies from real people. I wish it felt like the old days in AOL chat rooms where it felt like real people surrounded our conversations. It feels all botted and AI now.

  @atelicinvest kind of seems like it’s as simple as: can’t price to marginal utility in a competitive market, you have to price to marginal cost. and every day, it looks more and more like tokens will be a competitive, many-player, non-oligopolistic market. it’s not like AOL ever tried to price their email service based on the cost of sending the same messages via USPS, nor could Yahoo / Google price search based on the equivalent cost of the human labor of looking through microfilm at your local library

  @SarahSevans2000 Hit 19, I never had an AOL address, I could have but I didn't. A lot of those are the result of working in a law office though.

  @Ranulf_84 @lady_valor_07 No, I KNOW you are wrong. Internet as devised using hypertext was developed betw 1991 & 1993 when www. * was fully rolled out as I said, BUT all of it was there before hypertext. Standalones like AOL, etc, began 1983-85, IDIOT!!!!

  When is this country going to stop the monopoly of the internet giants who control the access & content of emails. Google shut down my access, refused payment, yahoo denied access, now AOL denied access. Google, Blackrock, Microsoft, ramped up their efforts to control us.
