    @Shatter242 @webjedi Aol was a mainframe at its heart, took years to migrate off it. Some properties stayed online because of ad revenue, even though the service was basically dead.

    @Grandshelt I never got to play many games on AOL, our computers always sucked too much. The only memory I have of computer games was Sailor Moon Solitaire, Same, Putt putt saves the zoo and Ping pong 😭 The games never loaded on my AOL... I WILL LIVE THROUGH YOUR MEMORIES

    @Nicola_Slawson Hey don't mock... I was busy editing and sending out a weekly fanzine using AOL mail before e- newsletters were even a thing! I had subscribers from Bury St Edmunds to Billericay. Never fulfilled my teenage potential
