    6. More so, it was never just about one project making it above all others. Netscape, AOL, Yahoo, MSN, Amazon, Windows, Intel, MySpace, Google, Facebook, Apple, Verizon, Netflix; almost all of these names coexistence at some point and suggested thriving potential simultaneously.

  • MichaelBuckelew Michael Buckelew (@MichaelBuckelew) reported

@EsqMarkyMark @ecerv2004 @GreyDeLisle AOL went unlimited when I was a freshman in college. You had to write down like five numbers because some would be too busy.

  • AdamBombApe Adam Bay Lee (@AdamBombApe) reported

@NodeSwiss @bflats2020 @Crypto_McKenna That's a great source. I remember when I first got AOL in mid 90s it was terrible. Took me 5 minutes to load a boob. If he waited five years before then, good because the internet sucked until early 2000s

  • DaddyRolleda1 Daddy Rolled a 1 (@DaddyRolleda1) reported

@ParadiceOf Fun story - I met my wife on AOL dial-up in 1995, before people even did that. We weren't even in a dating chat room - she was looking for an internship at my company! She drove 5 hours to meet me & we went to dinner. She never got the internship but we ended up getting married!

  • ParadiceOf Birds Of ParaDice - 56.34% shipped! (@ParadiceOf) reported

@DaddyRolleda1 I remember blockbuster and going to get snacks while waiting for AOL to fail dial up. :P
