  Look at who bought it. Bending Spoons has acquired Evernote, WeTransfer, Meetup, Brightcove, Vimeo and AOL. The pattern never changes: buy a beloved product at a discount, cut costs hard, raise prices, and run it for profit instead of growth.

  @MAnneAmbrose1 I still use my aol email address it’s coming up for 30 years now I have never tried contacting them, I do think the internet was nicer back then with chat rooms rather than just social media stuff, it was less superficial

  This is extremely stupid. It’s not a Bitcoin problem. It was just a flawed product. It’s like saying you should never use the Internet again because AOL got hacked.

  @AverageJohnEVR @Lightningmaxi Believe me, I’ve tried. I’ve emailed & contacted them a handful of times. It was originally a lost password. Once I found the password, the account was then flagged due to inactivity, and a new IP Login attempt. The only recovery method they provided to me was resetting the password through email or phone number. The issue however, is I used a Skype phone number (dead service) and an @aol email address I no longer have due to inactivity.
