  • frankrietta Frank S. Rietta (@frankrietta) reported

I remember when I got into trouble for burning through 10 hours of AOL as a kid. Imagine 20 min/day average being all the whole family could use online. Weird.

  • SavageKitty420 Savage Attack Cat (@SavageKitty420) reported

@BenOsick @Breaking911 I miss when losers like you were too stupid to know how to get online. A pissant like yourself would've cried like a ***** if you ever went to an AOL chat room in 1998. *****.

  • RonDuncan7 Ron Duncan (@RonDuncan7) reported

@BlackDGamer1 I got into anime in the mid 90's when dial up internet was still by the hour (though shortly after, AOL went crazy with flat rate and busy signals were an issue.) I'm pretty sure nothing like MAL or other things were even thought of. Yikes.

  • killahils matⓣ (@killahils) reported

Seriously $eth 15% gas.. **** YOUUU. That's ridiculous. Im about to dump all my #ethereum into eth killers. There is no way that is sustainable for another 2yrs. They remind me of AOL in the 90s. The biggest but google and yahoo creeping up to take them down $zil $dot $ada $tel

  • JustBofUSA3 B of 🇺🇲 (@JustBofUSA3) reported

@Jules31415 Well I am all about interacting with Friends. Even with bad rose advice(I would feel bad to myself if I wasted that chance) I just want to interact. Talk and Chat. Not just hit Like and RT I grew up in AOL chat rooms. So this Like/RT and no talk is eh

  • EmperorWulf Emperor Wulf (@EmperorWulf) reported

@BlackDGamer1 Everything you listed is from the 80's/90's era you hogwash piece of ****. If that's their "common knowledge" then they're probably an OG from the age of free AOL disks and the only place selling anime merch was EB Games

  • aaltcurrent Nope ⚡ (@aaltcurrent) reported

@emrazz No one used their real names to socialize on the internet until Facebook. Before that, everyone had a psuedonym in IRC, ICQ, AOL, and Yahoo chat rooms and other messaging apps. It was considered risky, unimaginative, and in poor taste to use your real name.

  • jcschonborn Jennifer Schonborn (@jcschonborn) reported

@smp00 @aolmail Same issue for me. iPhone 8

  • david__simon David A. Simon (@david__simon) reported

@lexlanham @KayteSB in my line of practice, attorneys with hotmail and aol accounts were of a certain vintage. never came across one with this kind of handle

@ShastaFromNE Never would gave guessed that. Funny AOL name. I have never done anything but medical.
