@Lucas_Shaw @TaylorLorenz Discovery doesn’t understand Hollywood biz culture. AOL had the same problem. WB/HBO spends money to make it right. Creatives like that. Discovery is where you go to make disposable tv on the cheap. This merger will end same as AOL did

@cvrlne I got into RP/fanzines (which were photocopied/mailed!) on AOL, but soon after that: USENET. IRC. LiveJournal. RSS feeds, webcomics. Never really got into MU*s. Sites with forums (cough)Yerf(cough) and art tutorials. Fanfic. DeviantArt. ICQ (My UIN was only 6 digits.) Napster.

@dbongino It doesn't drive them crazy. It actually appears to make them point out your childish stupidity. You act like you invented Trolling , but you're still at AOL 2.0 levels. It's just sad and cringe. Seriously, be a man. Grow ******** up.

@cvrlne I never used AIM, and pretty much avoided AOL. The earliest things I remember using/visiting were Microsoft Comic Chat, Hyrule The Land of Zelda, and GameFAQs.

@PowerGPU I never used AOL's service, but loved receiving those free floppy disks in the mail. One quick reformat and they were good to go!

@vmlemon Eventually they're counting on you to forget to cancel before you're charged... this is how AOL used to do it.
