I think they should bring back the dial up window that popped up with AOL to really calm us down before we access the Internet. It doesn’t do anything really. It just makes the sound and gives us a second.

@DaveHar06189553 @CP24 @stellafxjeffrey AOL chat lines finally went down, eh.

2000 is slightly better than 1999 though, it was bad but they were trying things to turn it around. WCW would have definitely lasted a few more years if it wasnt for the Warner/AOL merger. Eric Bischoff buying WCW is a giant what if? in wrestling history.

  • Vildras One Blade, One Truth (@Vildras) reported

@lymilark YEA idk if not for arena, then for gw at least. i use ruele and krau in gw if i wanna guarantee a win. but this defense is pretty bad for champ, champ meta rn is AOL + belian + c.armin/ruele/maid + bruiser dps unit

  • likeapresident Pinocchio (@likeapresident) reported

@theycallmekg2 AOL TimeWarner undersold it to WWF at the time. One of the worst business deals in history. To think it took nearly 20 years for pro-wrestling to return TNT and TBS with AEW, which would have never happened had TimeWarner didn't put dead AOL in decision making control.

  • drivenbyboredom Nate Igor Smith (@drivenbyboredom) reported

@JohnKnopfPhotos @Roblox I was a big X-Files fan and my password was Mulder’s password trustno1 and I realized that tons of X-Files fans must have the same one. I wrote down all the accounts that had X-Files in their profile and then I had free AOL forever after that.

  • STRONG_PlSS Faggard C. (@STRONG_PlSS) reported

Post Office finds a parcel that had been lost behind the sorting machine for 25 years. They track down the intended recipient through several cross-country moves and faithfully deliver their AOL free trial CD

  • Billchick1965 bill (@Billchick1965) reported

@Lingzi_W Do you remember AOL dial up?? Omg that was horrible

  • TheMarcJohnNFL Marcus Johnson (@TheMarcJohnNFL) reported

@DaltonBMiller When he has to dropback without PA he processes the field like AOL online. Always been an issue and why he doesn’t anticipate very well.

  • EgoRecreational Recreational Ego Death (@EgoRecreational) reported

@Kingsmob2 yeah, I'm familiar with those but I was never really in a position to do either when I was younger. I don't think we got a connection until the 90's at which point even though he was tech savvy, my parents set up us with AOL accounts. I grew up with a Commodore 64.
