  • cmscalvert Chris M. Calvert (@cmscalvert) reported

@16bitnostalgia 2 My first email was Hotmail, never AOL. My family never owned encyclopedias. That's what the library was for.

  • Asta77 💫 Asta77 📽️ (@Asta77) reported

@beck_liz One. Never had an AOL account. I recall setting up a MySpace account, but never using it.

  • KeeperOfWind KeeperOfWind (@KeeperOfWind) reported

I used Aol till 2008 because we still had dial up till then The only real thing I can say I've never ever done is sent or received a fax and used a paper map to get somewhere. Everything else I used or did because my parents kept it around.

  • CyGuyDC @Cy_Guy (@CyGuyDC) reported

@talkwordy 2. I never had an AOL account. And I never owned a (paper) encyclopedia. (I did own one on CD-ROM) Let me tell you, "surfing" the World Wide Web on a 1200 baud modem was pretty exciting back in the day. But you were better off sticking to gopher and ftp sites.

  • cropcirclesin CropCirclesIN (@cropcirclesin) reported

@RetroToshi Yeah I'm at 2. Never had an AOL email, but I did have an AOL messenger account. lol

  • patsfb patsfb (@patsfb) reported

@mattrly "old enough"—blocked. I think AIM technically allowed me to access AOL mail? Never used it but I think the option was there. All it takes for most of these is to have a parent or grandparent who has outdated tech.

  • forallorfornone Mr. J (@forallorfornone) reported

@MsAlliLux 1 for me. Never had an AOL account 😕

  • asheltry keybored worrier 🇺🇦 (@asheltry) reported
