@AOLSupportHelp Understanding? lol what do I understand? I have no understanding of when the problem will be fixed, or why it exists or why it has happened. You've given no information and have been of no help just spitting pre-formatted responses to a pretty catastrophic service issue. Useless!

  • drewsawdill Drew Sawdill (@drewsawdill) reported

@AOLSupportHelp Well that helps! This is a core service to your mail service. What is the service status? When will it be operational? Anyone reading this, take this into consideration, a core service can fail and you will be unable to access your mail from any application!! Leave AOL mail!

I was an 18 y.o. S’pore transplant when I got online in ‘99. Never quite went through an AOL phase—it was mIRC + ICQ [only recently found out this was actually bought by AOL]. I’ve often wondered how everyone else’s experience [of my age cohort] outside of the US had been.

AOL Spam filters are ****. I am managing my aunt's e-mail right now, trying to make sure that everything gets paid and everything like that, and there is so much spam and scams that end up in her inbox.

This circle crap is just another annoying Twatter. feature, imo. Like a high school clique, spaces too. Only includes select people, leaves others out. You might as well go back to My Space or AOL groups. 😝 #ThoughtsWithShan

@AielMelindhra @siva_ashaman Between those and trying to manage 3-5 instant message conversations at once (while also in an AOL chatroom that was going non-stop) for learning to type as fast as I do (though there are some accuracy issues LOL) .

@scherargei You people are being unfair to us. Really, how do we move on with such recurrent comments. Who do you define as a Luo leader when we are branded opposition. Ruto made it clear he is not working with opposition, what exactly should we do. An aol kod weche u

@sockamoejoe @IOHK_Charles It doesn’t matter who started ****. AOL isn’t here is it? Block buster is gone right? Just because you started something doesn’t mean it’s successful. Usually the successful ones take what works and throw away what doesn’t from first movers. ADA is building its foundation first.

I've never had to tell anyone I have an STD, but I have had to tell people I still use my AOL email address and I imagine the feeling is very similar.
