@ChamomileCap Chamath truly won: - cash out top of AOL (01?) into early FB (05) - cash out of FB at top (15), start a tech fund (12?) - cash out of tech fund at top (19?) into crypto and spacs (20) - cash out of crypto and spacs at top (21) Only reason he might fail is comparing to W.E.B.

@tomasganey Years ago when I worked for Verizon, we’d help customers move their emails over to new devices. Guy in his mid 40s was paying 24$ / Mo for AOL email. His wife roasted him mercilessly

  • PinMike8666 NintenCade360 🇺🇦 (@PinMike8666) reported

@TheCovalentTV Regarding on what I mean regarding pro-wrestling being “niche”: Pro wrestling was massive during the 1970s-to-2000, but financial problems and AOL-Time Warner merger forced WCW to close, which led to WWF buying the company and ratings today compared to the 1990s are way smaller.

  • LJLMD DiveDoc🇺🇸🏴‍☠️🇺🇦 (@LJLMD) reported

@aolmail App Password Generator is not working. I have a thread of 395 paid users ready to quit after 30 years if not fixed. Not adding your whole app to secure and unsecure phones worldwide.

@kwerb OK. But that's survival as in post-AOL CompuServe - sure the name is still out there, but the service we used in the early 1990s has been utterly wiped away.

  • hopsgeeknews Hops”Geek”News (@hopsgeeknews) reported

Have we tried rebooting the AOL chat room servers in case Twitter goes down? I think I can still subtweet with my away messages pretty effectively
