@PolitiBunny @DrJamesLane I'll have to look for the letter I sent this ****** when one of his Principals yanked my 14 Yr kid out of class, on a first name ID, and had a cop interrogate and read him porn some other person had sent a ******* AOL. @FoldableHuman And also, people DO want a cool VR world to mess around in, that's why VRChat is so popular. They don't want it spearheaded by the worst people you can think of. The internet would suck if it was led by like...AOL.

  • FullStriedAhead Christopher Stried (@FullStriedAhead) reported

@AOL It's a budget expense we dont need, i support defunding and abolishing the local authorities.

I get the prejudice against 'Questies'. It's like back in 2k, on irc, we gave aol users ****. It was really easy to get online with aol, but that meant a higher proportion of users were idiots, and they all got tarred with the same brush.

And people laughed when I said Xbox Live is the future of gaming and it'll be way bigger than whatever the hell Sega was trying to do with Dreamcast. And, yes, Metaverse is stupid. AOL was stupid. And so were video games, to most people, in 2001. Just like crypto in 2015...

@paulkrugman Blame Biden for creating the expectation that Manchin would be with him in the end. And with the different ending that’s emerging u can say he’s right. Manchin never to go with a Bernie-AOL climate or 3.5T. Bernie’s gang are delusional fools to buy into Biden’s Manchin folly!

@Foone Yo, that's hot **** but have you ever tried buying PS1 backups from a list you found on the AOL games channel?

  • TroyDoinYourMom TroyD (@TroyDoinYourMom) reported

@Lons It's early versions of the future. At first the internet was using a walled in service like prodigy, compuserve or aol. The internet outside those services was useless to most people. I'm not saying that this is as big as the internet but this will eventually be a real thing.

@Monstrecrypto @inmortalcrypto this will change with time...how long as Solana even been out there? Maybe 2 years? If you're not shocked or impressed by the growth and continued developer community numbers increasing then idk what to tell ya. People said the same **** about AOL...
