@MileenaUltra Oh, that’s long lost. I expect big i Internet won’t be around too much longer, I think you’ll see it broken into regional systems so greater control can be exerted. The promise of the Internet has been completely passed away. This is closer to AOL than to 1997 WWW.

I took a computer science class in HS. late 80s, and then a coding class (basic) my senior year. Never did I enjoy school so much. I wrote my own black-jack program (easy), and later a dead reckoning flight planning program (hard), which I made a few bucks on posting to AOL. 1/

@NotEnoughTECH Yes true, hoping CS will save your lack of investment in a product/service is not a good idea. I remember one of my first jobs in tech with AT&T with the launch of their competitor to AOL, AT&T Interchange. Those of us in Tech Support saw first hand how rushed the timeline was.

@realTuckFrumper A lot like the hideous AOL news page: Yesterday, the lead story was "Biden's passive" response to L'Affaire Balloon. Today, it's "Biden bungled" the incident. It is the right-wing's collective mission to make Ugly America their province.
