@UCLA_Law @VolokhC @nytimes As I was saying on Compuserve the other day about my reasons for switching to AOL, the overwhelming media dominance of Time Inc guarantees that I will never need to subscribe to another service in order to express my opinions.

My e-mail was hacked and spammed and when I reached out to @AOL @aolmail they said they could help but only if I paid them $30? I guess it is time to look for a new e-mail provider after 10+ years of using them..I'm not paying to be able to use my e-mail as I should be able to.

@ironicsans @codinghorror @SnoopDogg Both me and Snoop owe our careers to the same platform...interesting considering I’m in data science and analytics. I always wondered what would have happened if AOL had remained QuantumLink and switched to Amiga support.

@tyler Bitcoin is like the Internet. Last year buying Bitcoin was like buying a domain name that you could hang an HTML page off of. This year we have AOL-like on-ramps, like Square. Soon we will have crypto native apps & ecosystems that remove latency from financial networks. #Bitcoin

@Oatmeal I'm surprised they let you know, rather than do like AOL and keep collecting payments for dial-up service for years after people stopped using it. I bet the portion of "Subscriber doesn't notice he's still subscribed" revenue for these companies is significant.
