@josecanyousee_ Bad day, itchy socks, woke up late, person at work acted in a way, the sun rose but not at the right angle, the moon rose but it wasn't a rose it was a moon, squirrels, lack of private bathroom time, couldn't remember their AOL password... (all not reasons to kill, to clarify)

  • Open_Media Сатаноши (@Open_Media) reported

@WhaleChart It is old and obviously 1st gen technology like AOL was before and they went out of business. Bad technology? Maybe not. But development moves on and has better solutions.

@schrep I just had a flashback to my time at AOL, the purchase of Time Warner, and the collapse of it all. Difference... in dotcom crash bad ideas led the way. The next crash will be led by bad skills. We are not equipped as a society to solve the problems of today. Education is the key.

AOL’s email service is bullshit. I haven’t used that email in nearly a decade, and they ****** me over by disabling my account for inactivity. I tried everything to recover my account, but those shitbags won’t let me in 🤬

  • CurdVonnegut J Sweetback (@CurdVonnegut) reported

@megmantis At my last job, in 2016, "legacy" email addresses (aol, earthlink, etc) accounted for 5% of total customer contacts yet they generated over 30% of the complaints. Hmmm
