AEW is a public relations nightmare. I’m telling you guys right now, it will be viewed upon worse than ECW, UWF, Heroes of Wrestling, TNA etc Nobody will ever falsely dare call WCW a failure, they got sold due to a garbage AOL/Time Warner merger and went out with dignity.

@DrFletchington @the2ndhop Nah, it's never made any money Sure, he's paid over the odds and may never recoup the few bln he's on the hook for but it kinda reminds me of when Time Warner bought AOL for silly money at the height of the dot-com boom.. Takeovers funded by stock/shares are stupid at the zenith

@BromonaQuimby 100% "Why, entrepreneurs are actually older folks -- 40s!" And the solution? "Think positively!" Shame folks for being depressed about their cultural scapegoating as dial-up AOL users. Rather than my quick fix, stopping ageist microaggressions in their tracks: "Hey you! STFU!"

@motomatters @stavvy1 We adapt, adjust & move on, David. Once upon a time MySpace was it; AOL or MSN before that. Nothing is too big to fail. & I'm sorry, Twitter may be a place of words for you, but it is much more to others. I do think Mastodon is close to achieving critical mass as a replacement.
