    I straight called AOL tech support at one point to ask them how to open a “dot ZIP” file.

    Well that sucked but I took the time to fix my wireless connection. I don’t exactly know what I did but it is finally high res again and no longer 1997 AOL potato quality.

    @bcantrill @okta @toddmckinnon ...so no NFS, pity this was one of tens of Challenge servers backing up all of AOL email via NFS. And support let AOL flounder all weekend. Not visible publicly but oh Jesus the **** hit the fan internally. A major failure. And treated as a learning lesson...

    @AOLSupportHelp please could i get a supervisor to read over the interactions in private messages. i am not pleased with the support i'm being offered. your support member clearly didnt read my responses or provide adequate help.

    I don’t get tribalism in crypto. If you’re believe we’re still so early, its like being tribal towards AOL or Nokia. You can support portcos without sounding tribal.

    @Sharkguy726 I remember when aol was the only way to get online and i changed the area code to log on bc the other one was a constant busy signal. My dad got a bill for 250 for long distance calls. I was in trouble hahha
