@BrynleyHeaven The good folk of Scunthorpe couldn't open AOL accounts back in the day due to profanity filters. Can you imagine the issues they'd have if they dropped the S?

@campbell_kang But he's buying a massive user base. The thing is so big it will take a while to really rot. AOL's a good example. The real issue will be that he wants it profitable super-quick. Sad, but I think that will piss folks off more than fascist troll mobs.

@SabrinaM2812 IMO this is part of the problem of how digital platforms work nowadays. Back in the day, you'd be in smaller digital set-ups (AOL, MSN, etc.). But now Twitter, FB, etc trick people into feeling close to those they see in their feeds.

@codingmilf my dad’s like a real life ned flanders. he banned cable TV because he didn’t want that damn rap music in his house. we did have AOL dialup at least, probably a miscalculation on his part. a very bored, curious 9 year old Dan kinda went all in on it.. 1/?

@JDCocchiarella 9th , so many of our amendments bruised or just entirely broken. Its sad that we as us citizens have to enumerate when our rights apply and its up to a Rich man to buy back freedom on one platform. Just one. you have all the rest AOL yahoo reddit tumbler Tik tok Snap Chat etc
