@MathieuPAGES @AOLSupportHelp That’s useful. I’m surprised they didn’t inform ALL users of the issues and the possibility. Was this possible without having to remove the AOL account from the Android mail browser? The biggest fear is that mail or notes may get lost.

@Deegirl76 @aolmail This worked for me: sign in from website. Options - Account info - Account Security - Manage app passwords. Select from dropdown and generate. Input this generated password on app/desktop email clinet settings.

@AOLSupportHelp Who signed off on the decision to change the password requirements during lockdown? This is deeply unhelpful timing as I'll now have to spend hours trying to talk my parents through the issue while unable to visit them. Terrible idea.
