@BollingerBeans It'll happen eventually! But you gotta bridge. Like go back further to AOL for the reverse argument. Everyone had a phone line and computers were rising, but the Internet was just BBSes and ****. AOL mailed you a way to have a good online experience. Then ppl were hooked

Oh, yeah, remember the AOL/Time-Warner merger? Remember how much damage that did only to lose millions for everyone involved? It's like every time WB does a big capitalism, they set themselves on fire and everyone else has to suffer with them.

@OrionKidder AOL was the same, I think. And I remember having a separate service just for email - Juno. Might have also given basic Telnet (archie/gopher) access too, but "websites" were the last internet thing I got involved with.

@TheVolumeSports @Money23Green @kylekuzma What does Draymont bring to this "high speed era" that nobody had in the "AOL era" to allow him to be able to play in this "high speed era" and that right there answers the question of why you can compare .That he believes hes high speed is the actual problem lol

The fact that BTC ****’s can’t read between the lines never amazes me. AOL was once a great ISP. It was great while it lasted. Then HSD came along and blew it away! @saylor stepped down MtGOX is about to unload soon too. #BTC= AOL 📉 $HEX = HighSpeed Internet. 📈Much better IMO

@PendingV My earliest Internet memory would using things like Earthlink and AOL to login while listening to dial up, and then browsing on Dragon ball z websites!

@BenMullin @jtoonkel @eshap I used to work for a company called CNN, which was very profitable. That company was merged within Warner, AOL, ATT and now Discovery. Is it any more, or less, profitable than it would have been if it had never been merged/swallowed? I’d love to see an analysis.

@Vinestain This game has never been easy . Dot com was so obvious in hindsight but at the actual time I was stuck a decent amount before it turned. I had a chiropractor he was my friend and he told me how easy it was buying the dip in AOL . I said doc it’s easy because you don’t know what

@LegionHoops @OnBallSteph If you old enough to remember, AOL was crap then. We just put up with it and didn't know any better
