@JaniceDean @Twitter Haven't noticed anything. I have noticed that Yahoo and AOL are letting more spam through their filters at the same time trying to upsell their paid programs to block spam. Coincidence? No issues with Gmail.

@michaelpollan in my long history of studying guardian articles getting brutally ratio-ed, I have never seen such a massive, comprehensive, and ruthless backlash as your article on giving up caffeine. The failure to read the room on this is up their with not buying AOL stock.

@sailorepoch God he would be like me and know nothing because his aol was broken and all he had was chat rooms so he was more focused on made up pairings and wasn’t allowed to watch anime

@henryfreedland When I was an employee of AOL, all-hands meetings included some poor sweaty schlep running onstage in a yellow AIM Man suit. There but for the grace of God....

@dereknicoletto @SeanTwoNames I remember being called into my bosses office in 94 because someone sent him a screenshot of a bad conversation I had in an AOL chat room. It was at that time I told myself NEVER AGAIN! Such a great learning experience that's always stuck with me and how I behave online.

@anaismitchell @yvahn T-Mobile Sidekick and AIM was the ****. And even before that, AOL was my tinder. You could literally go to NYCAsianzzz or NYCAsians chatroom and find a date ASAP if you had a scanned picture of yourself.

@RedEmpyre @j2_jovi @girloncinema I mean, what "did them in" was a guy taking over TNT who despised wrestling and sold WCW to the first bidder just to get it off his network. Had nothing to do with how much they were making/losing. So long as Turner/AOL continued to own them, WCW could've continued on.

@joeywreck It came with AOL back in the day, but I never used it. (I actually liked Windows Media Player then, now using VLC.)
