@Psychoblue9 @nikoexxtra People like Tony schiovane have said russo actually created a decent working environment including rehearsals for the shows that Eric never did. The ratings rose his first reign that’s better than sustainment but wcw went under because aol just flat out didn’t want wrestling

John F⚡n Cohl (@j_cohl) reported
@1Stop_Wrestling A poor financial infrastructure for PPV revenue..after the AOL merger, WCW appeared on paper to be a bad investment. In reality, with proper revenue streaming..WCW wasn't nearly as bad as it looked.

But we’re back to work. Tomorrow the aol man will be stopping by to show me how to fix my website. But once that’s fixed, I want to show you more about something I’ve been concerned to share with people

@nikoexxtra I mean. Ratings aside, WCW only got into major trouble and taken off the air after the AOL/Time Warner Merger. If that hadn’t happened who knows how much longer WCW would’ve stayed on the TV. It wasn’t until Ted was no longer the top voice that WCW closed up shop.

@1Stop_Wrestling The Aol Time Warner merger coupled with the fact TNT never wanted wrestling on their network from jump street.

@Bakari_Sellers I figure they probably listen to the radio, watch network TV, have a landline and are still using AOL...

@SteelNicho Well the other issue is AOL wasn’t a fraud. $tsla has way too much to hide to ever risk a merger like this. Remember they refused to open their books to the “prospective investors” for funding secured

@ToniC8 The larger the following, the increased likelihood of that crap happening. I remember when chatrooms on AOL were fun and interesting. That was when AOL still hadn't reach 250 thousand members. Then the flamers joined. Arrrgh. Makes me feel like a f*cking elitist.
