  @WhippleMarc @AkivaMCohen My Mom had an AOL address, never changed it in over 20 years of being online. Loved her dearly, would have hired her in a second to do my taxes (she was a stellar CPA), but still not sure it's the right branding choice for a law firm that might want a little respect.

  @SundaeRedux @AOL They haven't been able to cancel the AOL dial up internet connection after the first free month. Anyone else remembers those CDs in the mail?

  So we spent a long time like that because @AOL thought I had an obligation to do business with them if I couldn't give them a convincing reason I needed to cancel. This is the extreme version of making it easy to subscribe & difficult to cancel, but it's all crookery (4)
