AOL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • dbennett_ks Curmudgeon (@dbennett_ks) reported

@jorah In the ‘80s we had to use them. If you used one service like CompuServe as a gateway for mailing to another service like AOL, you had to include them. As soon as those two realized that users were doing that, they both shut it down.

  • Tournesol82 Viking Hippie (@Tournesol82) reported

@realgavinquinn @johnrennhack @ZephyrTeachout Also, MySpace was never complicit in foreign interference in the US elections and the violent persecution of ethnic groups worldwide. AOL might have though, not sure (just kidding, of course)

  • AJMagicMessage Andrew Jeffrey (@AJMagicMessage) reported

@greenarmy49 Hi again Grant. Checked and it was definitely sent on 1st May. Might be an aol issue? Title was 'May Maths News from Andrew Jeffrey' if that helps.

  • DeePra6 Deepa (@DeePra6) reported

  • hankforeman91 Hank Foreman (@hankforeman91) reported

@ElisaInTime Hey, it’s like the time I used my mother’s credit card to pay for an ad after logging onto AOL as a kid! Forgive me, couldn’t help but bring up an old memory. Still, don’t worry too much. If I learned my mistake from said experience, I’m sure your kid can learn the same too.

  • SacredTbag Wizard's First Rule (@SacredTbag) reported

@pcgamer Well, that doesn't surprise me much. Remember when Walmart tried their own internet service? It was just a reskinned AOL.

  • islesblogger Michael Schuerlein (@islesblogger) reported

@MikeyMike81 @NYIslanders Lol totally. AOL and AIM were super fun at the time, regardless of the crap to connect haha

  • KingSmileyb88 Solana Pitters (@KingSmileyb88) reported

@AOLSupportHelp I need help accessing my account I haven’t used it in years and I don’t remember my phone I used

  • kurtssphincter Kurt Vonnegut’s Sphincter (@kurtssphincter) reported

@amandacarpenter These people are so disengenuous. AOL banned me in 1993 because I spammed a chatroom as a child. It was a paid service. My parents actually lost money. But they were a private company and (rightly) determined I was ruining the service for others. This is not a new phenomenon.
