If I’m being VERY honest I don’t reply to any email that yahoo gmail aol all that other **** lmao either you have an iCloud a university email or your own web address email ….that other **** tells me you’re not serious and I probably should not respond to you Like in the digital age of 2026 WHY don’t you have a website that links to your actual name! ESPECIALLY in the current job market ….my current name on here is a stage name imo but my actual gov name I own the domain to and it forwards to my resume , my LinkedIn, and a few projects I’m involved in

@_sean_mcadam We were poor we didn't get internet until the whole AOL thing. I remember my dad buying a computer for the "whole family", and then he discovered the Sims, and train simulator and then we couldn't get him off of it.

@Eman_8282 18 for me. I never had a waterbed or a AOL address. Here in Europe that was not a thing.

@Johnneh_80 @Sixty130Racing I had AOL for like a second, but living in SoCal in the 90's was dope. We had dude's running local ISP services out of like a closet and you could get service for like $10/month. The BBS situation was also off the hook. I had no problem getting games from a random Warez site.

@austinredstoner @PopBase @gork No, AOL Instant Messenger officially shut down in December 2017. Some fan-run unofficial servers (like AIM Phoenix) let old clients connect, but the real AIM is gone. Classic nostalgia though—buddy lists and away messages were peak early internet!
